Jeff Probst blogs ‘Survivor: Heroes vs Villains’: episode 4 | EW.com

GET IT TOGETHER MAN, I’M SERIOUS
I loved the exchange between Coach and Boston Rob because it brought out Rob’s very limited patience for topics such as feelings and whining. More than any other guy I know Rob is the quintessential “guys guy.” He’s just not one to have long talks about feelings. You’re either with him or you’re against him. It’s so clear that Coach desperately wants to be with him and that is probably at the heart of why he’s feeling left out. He just wants Rob to like him! But with Rob, it’s not so much if he likes you as much as it is if he doesn’t despise you. Coach, he doesn’t despise you, so take his advice – stand up straight and get back in the game. It’s too soon for you to go home.INTERMISSION
Oh, while we’re here… how about another response for those of you who are still screaming at me to get off the Coach topic? Let’s see… hmmm… how about this 8th grade classic… “Up yours.” Ya like that one? I do too. It’s straight to the point.I’m kidding. It’s just a joke. Where’s your sense of humor. Fun. You remember fun, right? That thing you used to have before you became a pain in the a–? Yeah, that thing. Listen, if I can laugh at myself with wet cushions, you should be able to take a little Coach humor.
IDOL PLAY
I was a bit surprised at the different way the two tribes approached the idol clue. I never would have guessed that it would be the Villains who chose to not look for the idol, while the Heroes were tripping over each other in a mad dash to uncover it. Further proof that at this point, the Villains are more in control of their game. They just have it more together than the Heroes.

Better with Boston Rob gone, are you kidding? He’s one of the main reasons I came back to watch the show after not watching the last few seasons. I hope he makes it pretty far just because he is so much fun to watch.

Had the other villians/players seen Russell’s season prior to this season?? I heard the two seasons were filmed back to back, and it seems that they don’t know some of his “tricks.”

Get off it, Rob is not ‘bonding’with Coach. He’s going to use Coach to remove Russell, and when Coach is of no use to him, he’s gone! No way does Rob want to keep Coach around for long. Coach is a puss and really doesn’t help the team other than his vote.

Boston Rob makes the season that much more better to watch. Love his accent!! Go Rob… this is your time….

Dude, i don’t think Rob is going to get rid of Coach any time soon. Coach is basically his loyal bitch, so why would he get rid of him? he’s a +1 vote, and as jeff probst said, its not like he’ll ever win..So why not keep someone who will always vote with you and is not a threat at all?

How about those skinny girls covering up their bones for a change. Disgusting… Did Boston Rob marrying the winner from his last appearance on the show. He did win a new vehicle, can’t say I care for him.

I would be so disappointed if Boston Rob was voted out now. He’s our favorite!

What DUMBASS decided that when a person gets hurt like James did, that the team should just play a man short!?!? That is the most screwed up thing I’ve ever heard of! I am completely in shock! Truly a stupid rule/decision.

For the first tome in 20 years i see that this season is “”SCRIPTED”"”. Rob crying & say OH Jeff it’s getting to me & Crying, Coach Crying & saying she said I don’t do anything. I have feeling’s to: Lets get real we are not to be taken as DUMB. Then tonight a man that can’t run, bend, wrestle, and barely walk faster than my 100 year old Mother & were suppose to beleive that the Girlies say he is better for us than a Fireman. Why have they lost 4 out of five, there is not one person on that team that has a bit of “”COMMON SENSE”"Rupert get the Hell of the show & go back to your POT;I am now a Villian Fan & don’t all of us think they arent staying in nice Mobil Homes every nite. This as we all know is not the real “”SURVIVORS”" and we aren’t as stupid as the script writers & Hero’s. Very disatisfied in 20 seasons.

Love Boston Rob. Used to hate him. But you really see how strong he is on these “all star” seasons! Past favorites, like Rupert, are just annoying and making stupid choices. But Rob is single-handedly making this season worth watching. Well, he and Colby.

Boston Rob is the man! This season would be crap without him. I still watch most every season of Survivor but Robfather has ALWAYS been my favorite Survivor player of all time. I was hoping he and Russell would team up but it looks like Russell’s ego is too big for that so he’s going down in flames.
